Adventure play Club
Every year, we are proud to offer our Adventure Play Club at The Yard, on weekdays from 2:40pm to 6pm. Young people spend their afternoons in the pursuit of their own self-directed play. Our Adventure Play Club offers the opportunity to play, create, build and explore with the support of our wonderful playworkers.
The Adventure Play Group is for elementary school students in grades 1 through 6. School/neighborhood pick-up is available where we can arrange a minimum number of young people. Air Quality Notice: As we recognize air quality issues that may prevent safe outdoor play, if we see a forecast for AQI of 140 (on airnow.gov for zip code 10004) or above for a day of after school meeting, we will get in touch with families to cancel that session the evening before. If the AQI is between 101 and 140, we may use indoor locations.

Adventure Play Club at The Yard
2:40pm to 6pm (exact time depends on location of pick up and drop off)
Our trained playworkers will pick up young people at school dismissal (virtual/in person) and bring them to Governors Island via subway and on the ferry. They will return with our playworkers, ready for pick up at arranged pick up points.
